They were built, furnished and decorated as private second homes and vacation getaways, so every cabin reflects the decorating and furnishing styles of the owner. When the owners are not staying in them, they are made available for rent exclusively through Carolina Mountain Vacations; for you to enjoy a Great Smoky Mountains vacation. Then our housekeeping and maintenance staff ensures these exceptional Smoky Mountain cabin rentals are clean and ready for your arrival. When you arrive, you will find the beds freshly made with crisp linens and soft, fresh towels in the baths. The kitchens are fully equipped with cookware, dishes, and utensils. Even the pantry and refrigerator could be fully stocked with all the groceries you want for your vacation stay, if you take advantage of our pantry pre-stock service.

All our log cabin rentals and vacation homes are located in the beautiful western North Carolina Smoky Mountains; each, unique in their location and surroundings.

The beautiful western North Carolina Smoky Mountains are home to 60% of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Fontana Lake, and the Nantahala River & National Forest. This scenic natural environment is unspoiled by modern over development as is often found on the Tennessee side of the Smokies around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Such a quiet rural setting is a perfect location for a relaxing vacation surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature. Yet, this same natural environment is an outdoor adventurer’s dream theme park and why Bryson City, a small smoky mountain town is nationally known as the “Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Smokies”. Our staff works, lives and plays in this scenic mountain playground so they are exceptionally informed and experienced in the area’s many attractions and locations. This is why we established our office in Bryson city, where Cherokee and Sylva are few minutes to the northeast and Fontana Lake and Nantahala are few minutes to the southwest (down HWY74 ). All of our guest start their vacations off at this centralized location when checking in at our office, just one block off Everett St. and a short walk to the train station. From our office, no matter which Carolina Mountain Vacations’ cabin you choose to stay at, you will only be a few minute drive away from your cabin rental. As all of our vacation homes and log cabin rentals are privately owned, their locations are spread throughout the Bryson City, Cherokee, Fontana Lake and Nantahala regions. Some of our cabins are completely secluded and others are located with in a short walk from one another.
