Location:
Sky Cove Hideaway log cabin has a beautiful mountain top view ; so be prepared to drive straight up the mountain to get there (paved roads of course). This log cabin is privately located in a gated mountain top community only 5 miles from Bryson City. For some outdoor fun Sky Cove Hideaway is just minutes from popular activities like rafting the Nantahala River, the Tsali bike trails, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City.

Exterior:

Sky Cove is a modern log cabin with three levels and two decks. A gravel parking area puts one up to a paved patio at the entrance of the cabin. Up a short set of stairs and you are at the front door, but the view pulls you further out to the front of the deck that wraps the cabin. The captivating view of the Smoky Mountains will keep one gazing endlessly at the view as it changes throughout the different times of day. Several comfortable chairs provide a place to sit and breath in the calm clean mountain air. The right side of the deck has a gas grill for preparing a delicious steak or skewers of shrimp and spending time with those close to you. A picnic table is placed on the patio for a meal outdoors, because it will be hard for anyone to stay inside. A path from the parking area around to the left side of the cabin will bring you to the hot tub that sits inside a gazebo. The secluded location is ideal for relaxing in the warm soothing waters while sipping a glass of wine surrounded by the mountain views. A fire pit is located just left of the hot tub for an evening of watching the flames dance in the cool night air. A smaller private deck is accessed from the downstairs master bedroom. A great place to share a romantic kiss before going indoors to settle in for the night.

Entry Level:

Sky Cove Hideaway log cabin is ideal for romantic getaways or family vacations. For a family vacation, this cabin's privacy will help keep the focus on the ones closest to you and they can have the second bedroom with a full size bed on the entry level. The soft leather sofa in front of a stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views somehow makes watching your favorite show even more special. Grilling out on the deck in the fresh mountain air to a view like this is an experience that will stay with you.

Upper Level / Loft:
On a rainy day the pool table in the loft is a great place to entertain the family. .

Lower Level:
For a romantic getaway, the entire lower level is a large master bedroom filled with mountain views through a wall of french doors that open to a private deck. A king size bed is positioned to take advantage of the mountain views and the stone gas log fireplace. The private master bath has a jacuzzi style tub but if your in the mood for fresh air, beautiful mountain views, warm soothing jets of water and room for two or more people; then the secluded outdoor hot tub is the place to relax.
