Mountain Muse is a short 10 minute drive from Bryson City, 20 minutes from Cherokee. Close proximity to great hikes to nearby waterfalls and tubing on Deep Creek, sightseeing from a rail trip on the Great Smokies Railway, shopping in the local shops in Bryson City and horseback riding in several nearby locations. A quite drive up a gravel road will bring you to a paved parking area in front of The Mountain Muse. A higher clearance vehicle is recommended and four wheel drive may be needed during the winter months if snowfall is on the ground, so take your time driving up to the cabin, its a destination worth getting to.
This cabin could be accused of "just showing off." A beautiful log cabin sits proudly waiting to display the mountain peaks at a distance. A few steps up to the deck takes you around to the front door and down one side of the cabin to the six person hot tub. The hot tub is placed in a location for optimal seclusion while still being able to enjoy the Smoky Mountain views. The deck has plenty of seating to relax with nature. A quite place to enjoy the gas grill while preparing an evenings meal makes the food taste even more savory. Take a few steps down from the cabin near the hot tub and you will find a quaint fire pit area, perfect for cool evenings of toasting marshmallows and listening to the crickets chirp.
From the front deck you will enter the living area of the cabin, once inside you will start to feel the energy of a cabin creatively designed to inspire. Special touches and unique pieces of art fill each space. The luxurious living room will had you ready to sit on the comfortable leather furniture in front of the beautiful creek stone wood burning fireplace and give your mind a place to relax and drop all worries. As you walk through the living area you will enter the dining and kitchen area. Black granite counter tops, tile floor and beautiful wood cabinets. Fully equipped with lots of extras, meal time will be a breeze for all to enjoy. From the dinnerware to the serving spoons, each piece has a delightful artistic twist. To the left of the rustic dining table is one of the two master suites. A queen size bed is placed perfectly to take in the mountain views as you awake each morning. The bathroom for this suite has a custom designed tile shower with a rainwater feature to stream a flow of warm water down directly over top of you. A small mud room with washer and dryer are located just outside the bathroom with a exit to the outdoors as well. On the opposite side of the cabin you will find the second master suite with a comfortable king size bed. It also faces the mountain view as you lay surrounded by extra cozy pillows. The bathroom for this suite is truly spa inspired. It has a jetted Jacuzzi tub that could fit two and a separate shower. Soft white towels are placed close by for wrapping up in after a long soak. Handmade soaps add a extra special touch.
From the living area you take the stairs up to the loft, steps covered in soft carpet beg for bare toes to trod up to the cozy little area created for watching satellite TV, enjoying board games, Foosball or cuddling on the sofa, which provides an extra queen size sleeping space. A pair of recliners give you a spot to kick back and take in even more of the mountain view through the chalet windows.
